Hello, My name is Rob Carpenter and my Uncle is Mike Wheeler. If you are at this site it means that you must know Mike and know what a great person he is. As most of you know, Mike was recently diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor and has started treatment at M.D. Anderson at the Brain Tumor Center. We all have Mike in our prayers and I know that God will take care of him and our family but I wanted do my part and try and help in another way. I am trying to raise money for the M.D. Anderson Brain Tumor Center so that as Michael fights his cancer he will have the best possible treatment in the years ahead. I am running in the Chevron Houston Marathon this January as a tribute to Mike and his courage. I have two goals: 1. Inspire and encourage Mike 2. Help raise money so that they can find the next breakthrough that will help Mike. I hope that you can help me with my goals.
